We are currently staying at the Hilton Fiji, and unfortunately this has been an extremely disappointing experience. Our first room was mouldy and full of mosquitoes, making it completely unsuitable. After raising this with staff, we were moved to another room, only to discover there was no hot water and we found cockroaches in the room. To make matters worse, breakfast this morning was accompanied by constant construction noise. If I wanted to spend my holiday listening to electric sanders and construction work all day, I would have stayed at work instead of paying premium rates for what is supposed to be a Hilton experience. This is our third consecutive year staying at the Hilton Fiji, and sadly the standard has declined significantly. We have been loyal guests because we’ve enjoyed staying here in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. At this point, we have lost confidence that our stay can be salvaged. We are requesting a full refund for the remainder of our booking so we can move to another resort and enjoy the rest of our holiday. We expected much better from the Hilton brand. Sadly, this will be our last stay here, and based on this experience we cannot recommend the resort to others.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom kitchenette room. We absolutely loved how spacious it was as we travelled with an almost 3 year old. The facilities in the room were great we even had a BBQ, washing machine and dryer! Even the cleaners clean your room daily and change your towels.We used the spa which I highly recommend and the Babysitter service at the kids club. We’ve stayed at the Hilton for 7 days every year and we will definitely be returning next year.

Worth knowing

The resort restaurants don’t accept cash, other than that we honestly had a great holiday.

Absolutely terrible, should not be in the HILTON bucket. Cockaroaches in the rooms, thousands of mosquitoes, gym is a small box with blacked out windows at the back of the resort, the pool furniture was dilapidated and broken. The breakfast was average , no local dishes to try and very expensive. The resort is so long you need a golf buggie to get around which is ment to be driving around every 10 mins well we waited for 20 and still no buggie, so ended up walking to and from the restaurants.
