Guest Services Manager, Felipe, was very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was a mistake beautiful spread and well done. Staff worked hard to make sure everyone was happy and what more they could do for us.

Worth knowing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Koro Sun, enjoyed the well maintained, clean and beautiful surroundings, along with the lovely Lilly ponds. However, our first night at the Sand Bar was a little disappointing with the lack of service, not able to order what we wanted, like pizza , and the vege pies, Thai salad too hot to enjoy.

Staff was wonderful! Loved that the property is huge and lots of places to walk--including lily ponds, waterfalls and walk up thru the Rainforest bures for spa treatments. Great variety of entertainment including dancers from villages and fire dancers were amazing. Loved that we could book snorkeling trips, waterfall trips and town trips--very fun. We had a 2 bedroom garden view--beautiful house and really loved the enclosed but felt like outside shower/bathtub area.

Everything about Koro Sun was great. They greet you at the airport and after a short drive to the resort you’re greeted by staff who sing you a Fijian welcome song. The food, rooms, amenities, and atmosphere were all amazing. The staff takes great effort to remember you and everyone in your party by name and are always asking if they can assist with anything. The snorkeling guide, Kaleb, did a fantastic job. He was very involved seeking out interesting sea life and pointing them out. We were able to experience sea turtles, sharks, coral reefs, and a verity of beautiful fish.

Worth knowing

The most of adult beverages were way too sweet for my taste. Other than that I have no complaints.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff are incredibly friendly. Not was too much trouble. My husband wanted to find out how he could watch a World Cup game. The staff organised a taxi for him to a local bar that had a television. He was very happy. The spa treatments were fantastic.

Unfortunately the weather during our stay wasn't great but there was still plenty of things for us to do.

The location of the resort is undeniably beautiful, surrounded by lush rainforest and stunning ocean views. The natural environment and marine life around Savusavu remain the true highlight of the stay. Some staff members were friendly and welcoming, and the peaceful setting has great potential for a relaxing getaway.

Worth knowing

Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay were disappointing and did not meet the standards one would expect from a resort of this category. Parts of the property felt poorly maintained and somewhat disorganized, while service and communication were inconsistent throughout the stay. The biggest disappointment was the associated dive operation. While the reefs and underwater environment themselves were enjoyable, the dive centre lacked professionalism and structure. Basic expectations regarding organisation, communication, customer care, and operational coordination were missing, creating a chaotic impression that did not inspire confidence. For a destination with such extraordinary diving potential, this was particularly frustrating. Overall, the experience fell short of the level of quality and professionalism one would normally expect in Fiji’s tourism sector.
